A link is internal when its host is the same as the page's, ignoring a leading www.

How do I extract all links from a website page?

Read every <a href> in the page's HTML and resolve relative links against the page address. This tool does that for one page at a time.

Does it crawl the whole site?

No, it reads the one page you enter. For a whole site, start from the sitemap with the sitemap URL extractor.

Why are some links missing?

Links added by JavaScript after the page loads are not in its HTML, so a tool that reads the HTML does not see them. Crawlers that do not run JavaScript miss them too.
