Organization schema generator
Quick answer
Organization schema is JSON-LD on your homepage that states who runs the site: its name, URL, logo, how to contact it, its address and its profiles elsewhere. Search engines use it for the knowledge panel and AI assistants use it to check a business is real before recommending it. Fill in what is true, leave the rest empty, and paste the script tag into your homepage.
<script type="application/ld+json">
{
"@context": "https://schema.org",
"@type": "Organization"
}
</script>
Why AI assistants care
Before an assistant recommends a business it looks for signs it is real: a contact point, an address, profiles that link back, pages such as /about and /contact. Organization schema puts the first three in one place a machine can read.
Frequently asked questions
What should Organization schema include?
At least name, url and logo. A contactPoint with an email and contact type, a postal address and sameAs links to your profiles on other sites make it far more useful, because they let a reader confirm the organisation is real.
Where does Organization schema go?
On the homepage, once. Other pages can refer to it by giving it an @id and pointing to that id as their publisher.
Should I fill in every field?
Only the true ones. An empty or invented field is worse than a missing one; this generator leaves out anything you leave blank.
