Refunds and cancellation

Last updated 30 September 2026

Paying for Verb should never hold a surprise. This page says what happens when you cancel, change plan or ask for your money back.

Who you pay

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Dodo takes the payment, issues the invoice and handles sales tax or GST. The charge on your statement shows as ASKVERB. Verb never sees your card or UPI details.

Cancelling

Cancel any time from the Subscription page in your dashboard. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and nothing more is charged after that. When the period ends, your workspace moves to the free build plan: your sites, tools and history stay, and your live site stops answering until you choose a plan again.

You can undo a cancellation from the same page any time before the period ends.

Refunds

Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with, through Dodo. Your bank usually shows them within 5 to 10 working days.

Changing plan

Extra requests

Bought requests do not expire. They are used only after your plan's own requests for the month are used up, and whatever is left carries over.

If a renewal fails

Your plan stays on while the payment is retried, and the Subscription page says so. Update your card or UPI there. If the payment still cannot be collected, the subscription ends and your workspace moves to the free build plan, as if you had cancelled.

Paying from India

Renewals on an Indian card or UPI follow the RBI rules for recurring payments: your bank notifies you before each charge, and the money moves about 48 hours after the renewal date. Your plan stays on in the meantime.

Enterprise

A custom plan follows the terms agreed in its contract, where they differ from these.

Asking for a refund

Email vishnu.ps@askverb.com from the address on your account, and say which payment. A person reads it and answers within two working days.

Verb is early and these pages are written in plain language rather than by a lawyer. If you need something more formal for a procurement process, email vishnu.ps@askverb.com and we will sort it out with you.
