Email signature generator
Quick answer
Fill in your details and this generator builds a simple HTML email signature that works in Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail: inline styles only, a table layout, and an optional photo by URL. Copy the rendered signature into your mail settings, or copy the HTML if your client takes it. Nothing you type leaves your browser.

Your name |
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" style="border-collapse:collapse;"><tr><td style="vertical-align:top;"><div style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:15px;font-weight:bold;color:#14151a;">Your name</div></td></tr></table>
Keep it short
Name, role, company, one or two links. Every line in a signature is repeated in every reply, so the best ones fit in four lines and leave out quotes and banners.
Frequently asked questions
How do I add the signature to Gmail?
Copy the rendered signature, not the HTML, then paste it into Settings, See all settings, General, Signature, and save at the bottom of the page.
Why use inline styles in an email signature?
Most mail clients strip style sheets and classes, so only inline styles survive. That is also why the layout uses a table.
Can I add a photo?
Yes, by URL. The image has to be hosted somewhere public; mail clients do not embed a file from your computer into a signature.
