Verb shows up in three places: this website, the dashboard you sign in to, and the assistant inside your product. Each stores very different things, so each is described on its own.
The assistant in your product
No cookies at all. The Verb assistant your users talk to uses the browser's tab storage for two things: a random reference for a visitor who is not signed in, and the conversation on screen, so it survives a page refresh. Both disappear when the tab is closed. Nothing follows a visitor from one visit to the next, and nothing is shared with any other site.
The dashboard, app.askverb.com
Only what signing in and the interface need. No analytics or advertising runs there.
- Your session, which keeps you signed in. Without it the dashboard cannot work.
- Your timezone, so charts and dates show your own day rather than the server's.
- The sidebar, remembering whether you left it open or closed.
This website, askverb.com
Only if you allow it. With your permission, Google Analytics and DataFast count visits and show which pages people arrive on and from where, and they set their own cookies to tell one visit from the next. Until you choose "Allow", neither is loaded at all. We do not run ads, and nothing from them reaches the product or your users.
Your choice itself is remembered in your browser's storage on this site, so we do not ask on every page.
The assistant on this site, the one you can ask about Verb, follows the same tab-only rule as the product and sets no cookies.
Paying
Checkout runs on Dodo Payments' own pages, our merchant of record. Those pages set Dodo's own cookies, covered by Dodo's privacy policy.
Turning them off
Choose "No thanks", or change your choice above, and no analytics runs. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser's settings. Blocking the analytics ones changes nothing about how this site works. Blocking the dashboard's session cookie means you cannot stay signed in.
More
What we store about you, and why, is in the privacy policy. Questions go to vishnu.ps@askverb.com.
Verb is early and these pages are written in plain language rather than by a lawyer. If you need something more formal for a procurement process, email vishnu.ps@askverb.com and we will sort it out with you.
